As a client of Barcelona Relocation, our team will be with you from the first conversation to the transfer of the keys, providing structured guidance throughout. But, it doesn’t have to end there. Initial Consultation & Intake
No two moves are alike. Our team will conduct an initial 40-minute consultation to learn your needs and desires, and begin mapping out tailored services to fit your budget.

Immigration Services
We take care of all legal and administrative steps for your move. This includes obtaining your NIE and handling other official documents with full legal compliance.

Property Searches and Neighborhood Visits
Barcelona moves fast! Flats come and go and neighborhoods are quickly evolving. We will assist with navigating the changes, join and/or represent you on property visits, and provide guidance on selecting neighborhoods.

Property Purchases, Sales, and Rentals
The property market in Barcelona moves quickly and has its quirks, including procedures that don’t exist in some other countries. Our team will fully explain how things work and assist you with staying on track.

Negotiations and Reviewing Documents
Buying property always includes lots of documents. Spanish bureaucracy adds even more. With documents in Catalunya sometimes provided in Spanish and/or Catalan, we help our clients prioritize and prepare to negotiate for a better deal.

Securing a Mortgage
Depending on your situation, obtaining a mortgage can literally involve visiting bank after bank to find the best rates and most flexible terms. Fortunately, our relationships with multiple lenders means they compete for your business instead of the reverse.

Hiring an Attorney
You won’t always need an attorney for property transactions in Spain. But, when you do, we have connections to experienced, knowledgeable, and multilingual lawyers to help clarify the process.

Working with a Notary
Unlike in some other countries, the homebuying process in Spain cannot be completed without a notary. Fortunately, we have relationships with multiple notaries who help make the process transparent and efficient.

Power of Attorney
We provide templates and offer Power of Attorney representation for clients who are unavailable in person for the closing. You may choose either a member of our team or your attorney to serve as the Power of Attorney.

Currency Exchange and Transfers
We take care of your furry friends too. From pet passports and transportation to finding vets and sitters, we ensure your pets feel right at home.

Translation and Interpretation Services
No Spanish or Catalan? No problem. Our team speaks multiple languages and is familiar with various cultural backgrounds.

Land Registry
Every square meter and recent renovation count. Our experienced team ensures that the property you’d like to buy accurately matches its legal description and is properly registered with the Spanish administration.
